Quattrolifts USA vient de lancer le Mulesur le marché, un appareil conçu pour permettre à un seul opérateur de lever et de faire pivoter des plaques de verre ou des unités de vitrage isolant (IGU) de 660 lbs (300 kg) en atelier,avec une plus grande facilité et une meilleure sécurité. Le Mule est capable de charger et décharger des plaques de verre, des miroirs et des unités à double vitrages sur les tables de découpe, les machines de façonnage des bords de verre, les camions et les chariots porte-vitres,tout en réduisant les risques identifiés par l’OSHA.
Le Mule est capable de faire pivoter une plaque de verre à 360°, permettant ainsi le chargement de longues et lourdes plaques de verre sur une machine de façonnage.Le Mule 300 fonctionne avec une pompe à vide portable alimentée en courant continu (CC), quiapplique un vide d’air surquatre ventouses Woods de 280 mm (11″). Les bras de la pompe à vide peuvent être pivotés, ce qui permet une manipulation sécurisée deslongues et étroites plaques de verre.
